Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Lancaster Purchasing, the hosted purchasing assistant from Lancaster Agentic at app.purchaseplanning.com and its app in ChatGPT (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the company you represent.

Who may use the Service

The Service is for businesses. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for your company, and to connect the business systems you connect.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at the support address if you think your account has been misused.

What the Service does

The Service analyses your company's purchasing data to recommend reorders, analyse vendors, build workbooks and draft purchase orders. A sample company is available so you can try it before connecting your own system.

Recommendations and purchase orders

Recommendations are produced automatically and can be incomplete or wrong. Review them before you act. The Service creates a purchase order in your system only after you confirm it, and you are responsible for the orders you confirm and place.

Your data

Your company's data remains yours. You give us permission to copy, store and process it only to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to connect the systems and data you connect.

Third-party services

The Service works with services we do not control, including ChatGPT and your business system. Their terms apply to your use of them. Lancaster Agentic is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI or by the makers of the business systems named on our site.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, to access systems or data you are not authorized to access, to interfere with the Service or other customers, or to attempt to reach another company's data.

Fees

The Service is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you before anything is charged, and paid use will need your agreement.

Changes, suspension and ending

We may change or discontinue features, and may suspend accounts that break these terms or put the Service at risk. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of uninterrupted availability or error-free results, to the extent the law allows. Lancaster Agentic is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim and US $100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post changes here with a new effective date; for material changes we will also email account holders. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: [email protected].
